West melb assistance-: Tool needed tonight. - BEAU - 16-10-2013

Hey guys, it's a long shot but I'll put it out there, has anyone got a tool (I'm not sure exactly what it's called) to knerl the master link on a 530 chain so I can do chain and sprockets before I leave for PI in the morning? If anyone could let me no I'd have it back tonight. Any help VERY much appreciated.

If you have a new joiner link then get the grinder out

2 hammers or a hammer and anything solid as an anvil on the opposite side of the link will peen the link fine ,

It doesn't have to be the same tension as the rest of the chain Maj? I've heard of that done but thought it was a quick fix/get you out of trouble type thing?? I've got plenty of stuff to just mash the edges over manually. It won't break the edges off? Over concered I no, but I want it to last...
