Busa Bling Blues - dad1300 - 06-12-2013

After major Australian Customs drama's dad's project X is almost there.
It's funny really, after perfect fit and performance with all the big ticket items, PC-5, QEM, SFM, Sato's, Akra full race system, Galfers, Braid etc., .............. $3 alloy brackets have me looking for some alloy strip and a hacksaw ;)

A received a Hotbodies Hugger with two small brackets, The right "L" shape is 3.5mm short centre to centre (bolt holes), the other is a "U" shape that dose not fit regardless of trying all possible combinations.

I've sent photos to STG and Hotbodies USA and we will see if they can help. I believe Hayabusa swinging arms have not changed since 1999 yeah?

Anyone been there with this Hotbodies stuff?

Cheers

dad

RE: Busa Bling Blues - Batfink - 06-12-2013

they should have a gen I and a gen II hugger as being different.. if I remember the genI has chain guard as part of hugger and screws directly to swingarm while the genII has a inverted L bracked on LHS over chain and the U bracket to be located at break line point on RHS..

Diesel if your looking at Huggers check out pyramid huggers very good product and they also have a section that runs down in front of the regulator that protects that as well.

Very Happy with mine, Pete's Pitstop also gets them in who's on here.
