rear hangers changing colour (see how this looks Wardy)

so far teh change of colour has cost me $20... $15 for some spray etch primer and $5 for some spray enamel satin black. Not 100% happy with the satin black so I am going to cover with gloss clear which should give me an extra protection....

RE: Batty's L3 BEE - Hayabusabike - 29-06-2014

Looking good batty. I really like the rear hanger color change. Yoshi's look great also.
I went for a quick ride with Huls today. He has 4-1 R77, I have 2 R77 slip ons. It was good hearing the sound difference. Mine was bassier and his was more high pitch.

What brand is the double bubble screen?

Woody

RE: Batty's L3 BEE - Batfink - 29-06-2014

screen is a simple fleabay item http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/221265687308?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 as it's an old and sold listing not sure if link will work. Try 48express-au shop as they are who I got it from..
cheers

also if i can get the hangers to match the frame right then I am looking at colour changing the OEM rearsets and putting them back on... might see if i can get some adjustable pegs or pegs made with an offset to suit my riding style

Yeah I'm trying to find some adjustable foot pegs but keeping original rearsets. I think I saw somewhere Buell pegs are lower?

RE: Batty's L3 BEE - Batfink - 29-06-2014

Forgot to mention.....
With the rear cowling off again I swapped the hollow rear subframe bolts for some solid Hi tensile bolts....
No more worries over rear frame failing

RE: Batty's L3 BEE - Batfink - 05-07-2014

Finally got the rear back together this morning....

check out the hangers Showback

RE: Batty's L3 BEE - storm - 05-07-2014

Reminds me of a yellow vfr800 I had. Got rave reviews wherever I parked, especially from chicks, then I got a black gixxer thou nobody gave a shit
