RE: Hi Everyone - bazman - 16-02-2015 G'day Bow and welcome to the AHC!! Congrats on taking ownership of your busa, mate.....lotsa fun coming your way!! Hope to see ya out there on the road sometime/somewhere!?! Keep it fun, bazman RE: Hi Everyone - Bowdog - 16-02-2015 Tassie is definitely on the cards, Batfink. Do I need to worry about the bike falling over during the crossing? RE: Hi Everyone - Batfink - 16-02-2015 They secure your bike for crossing, using handle bar tie down straps. If your bikes falls over then I would be expecting the whole ship to be upside down and the bike to be the least of your problems LOL BUT.... inspect your bike before and after they tie it down as they are not the most gentle, or careful, of guys. Last crossing I got a 50mm scratch on my fairing that I am sure happened when they untied bike (was not there before and I was standing beside bike when they tied it). luckily 90% of scratch disappeared with a good cut n polish. |
