Busa Import - Yarrum783 - 12-05-2016

Hi guys and girls.
Not sure if this is the right place for this, I have a 07 Hayabusa which I've owned for over four years. I currently live in perth. but my busa is in NZ, does anybody know who or how i can bring this into w.a. Any help will be appreciated
thanks Josh

I know Bikenut ( http://www.bikenuttransport.com.au/motorcycle-transport-sunshine-coast.php ) used to offer a service to/from NZ as well as all over Aust.

G'day
Maybe Get Routed?

RE: Busa Import - Shordy - 12-05-2016

Unless you're really attached to that particular bike, I would suggest selling it and buying another locally.
The expense of shipping it plus the rego and stamp duty etc may just make it uneconomical.

RE: Busa Import - Huls - 12-05-2016

It might pay to contact Customs and the Dept of Transport over here to check the legalities of how long you need to have owned it in NZ to avoid paying any import duty etc. Taxes alone may make it uneconomical before you even factor in shipping costs.

RE: Busa Import - Robyyy - 12-05-2016

I would do same as Shordy...................sell there buy here.....

RE: Busa Import - Shordy - 12-05-2016

We have a free trade agreement with enzed, so there shouldn't be any import duty, but it'll still be a relatively expensive exercise.

Hi Josh,

Mate why would you bother leave that one the in NZ for when you go home and buy this one a good buy.

He wants $8800 ONO for a 08 Gen II not bad buying.
