Clutch fluid leak fixed on a budget - Scion - 27-05-2005

Hi,
After my trouble with my clutch fluid (aka passionfruit syrup) I took it to the shop for service. I was expecting a couple hundred dollars of parts and other crap...

Boy was I surprised! Replacement seal cost just over $8. Now the big bike works better than when I first bought it (and the clutch fuild is a nice greeny colour rather than browny).

Sweet.

Two things to remember here
1.Did they do the modification,if not the thing will get shit in it again.
2.I would still keep an eye for leaks, as usually the cylinder bore is marlked and the new seal will only stop the weep for a short period of time.

Same thing happened to mine, (99) I fitted a new seal (cup)checked the bore (ok) & fitted the late model dirt excluder, no more prob's.
