Looks like they are trying to hide the shaft inside a swing arm.

Having owned a fantastic Italian Bike in the past.
I don't think I ever will buy a new one again.

Although the guzzis have always had a "COME AND TAKE ME AWAY" look about them.

I always like the engine layout on the Guzzis, that one looks like it'd be alot of fun at a race track Regards Richard

Look at the motor, you can why they have always been referred to as Portable Air Compressors.

Re: Something nice about this bike - AstroBusa - 09-09-2006

I like the look and seriously considered buying one once, but having owned an Italian marque in the past (Ducati) I'm not keen on doing it again.

I've got two mates who have Guzzi's - both have been trying to sell them for quite some time now but the prices they are being offered are so low, its more economical to keep them.

Two Wheels once coined the term UJM for Universal Japanese Motorcycle - and yes, there are downsides to owning a bike that is the same as every other bike - but these are far outweighed IMHO by the availability of parts, technical knowledge, customising/bling bits and reliability. It these things, the busa really does reign supreme. Plus, it has that 'something extra' just because its a busa.

It might be but the recipe is well known to a lot of experienced chefs (but a beginner can make one too), there are hundreds of ways to tart up to change the look and the flavour - so you can make it your own distinctive recipe, is a crowd pleaser that almost everybody loves. Even those who are on a diet wish they could have , and of course is very moreish... so you always want more. Best of all, if you can eat our brand of then the world just assumes you've got testicles the size of watermelons.

The older I get, the better I was. Regards.... Rob

It has some nice bits and pieces, that MG. I don't think I would like to drop one though. Not that dropping a Busa is the best idea either. I enjoyed your bit, Astro. kind of like pictionary.
