Things to do in COFFS... - BUSGO - 25-09-2007

For those lucky enough to be going on the Coffs run there will be a few things to do in town that weekend.

Apart from the obvious rides up the mountains etc. The town is hosting the Busking and Comedy festival during the time we are there.
There is also a Calligraphy exhibition on in the Botanic Gardens.

BUT more importantly- there are heaps of good mountain roads to explore.

I also had a call from one of our own members in Coffs who has an interest in the local ten pin bowling alley. He is keen for us to call in and have a go if we have some time to kill.

Qld v NSW Busa owners bowling challange? Somewhere between visiting those mountain roads and a visit to the bar? I could be up for that.

Hey guys, i've lived most of my life in Coffs! Just thought of another place you guys might enjoy.

Head out to Raleigh International Raceway.

http://www.raleighraceway.com.au/

Its a really fun karting track out at Raleigh (about 5km's out of Coffs) & its a world of fun. I've been there like 3 times.

I'm sure you guys would love it being motorcycle mad like me.

The karts are pretty slow but with the slicks on you can hammer them through the corners at the track, you can pretty much drift the karts through every corner once the slicks are warm Coolsmiley

Anyways,

Catcha

I spoke to our Coffs reps today and they are both gonna try and hook up with us while we are in town.

Burmi says the bowling is actually 9 PIN bowling and not TEN PIN so we may all be handicapped I think.

Don't forget dinner at the motel is 6:30pm on both Friday and Saturday nights.
