RE: Brake Pads - spamanglenn - 18-04-2008 ferodo cp211 from dad at easyrider are good. There organic and much smoother than metal pads. RE: Brake Pads - ROD - 19-04-2008 spamanglenn Wrote:ferodo cp211 from dad at easyrider are good. There organic and much smoother than metal pads. sounds like something i need i dont go much on the ebc Ray can you pm me a price so i can pm you if i want them then you cand pm me your payment details and i will pm yo where to send them and i might even pm you to say thanks i have received them ![]() RE: Brake Pads - Gnarbunkle99 - 19-04-2008 I got the CP211 on mine, you will not get the same high initial cold bite as say a HH metallic pad, once warm though, they really bite hard. A lot easier on the rotor than a metallic also. RE: Brake Pads - spamanglenn - 19-04-2008 spot on about the organics, less initial bite and need a couple of stops to bite real hard but are much smoother and don,t feel like your grinding the disc away. RE: Brake Pads - LOAFIE - 19-04-2008 Ive got the EBC FA188 Organic, and pretty happy . Would be interested on a comparison RE: Brake Pads - kawasuki - 22-04-2008 BUSA-RO Wrote:spamanglenn Wrote:ferodo cp211 from dad at easyrider are good. There organic and much smoother than metal pads. on there way Rod RE: Brake Pads - ROD - 22-04-2008 Gnarbunkle99 Wrote:I got the CP211 on mine, you will not get the same high initial cold bite as say a HH metallic pad, once warm though, they really bite hard. RE: Brake Pads - NEMESIS - 23-04-2008 How long before you need knew pads roughly.... On a brand new bike.. RE: Brake Pads - ROD - 23-04-2008 NEMESIS Wrote:How long before you need knew pads roughly.... On a brand new busa day 1 Good question people that like the original brake set up what sort of ks are you getting out of pads ? Thanks Ray i will be sure to test and report RE: Brake Pads - Louwai - 23-04-2008 NEMESIS Wrote:How long before you need knew pads roughly.... On a daily commuter in the traffic I got around 10,000klm out of the last set. Dunno what they were. Fitted by Dynoverks. Just the standard I assume. PTR will be changing then today. RE: Brake Pads - BUSGO - 23-04-2008 Longevity totally depends on your riding style. If you brake hard into corners you may get 20,000 and if you ride smooth and use engine braking you may get 50,000 out of the OEM pads. The rear pads wear a lot faster, I have found because I trail the brake into the twisties. The OEM are fairly hard and if you use softer or sintered pads you will get less. RE: Brake Pads - Louwai - 23-04-2008 Maybe I'm wrong then Busgo. Maybe mine were a lot older, cause I certainly don't ride hard. I must admit I didn't actually check them when Dynoverks said they installed new ones. And considering that he tried to tell me that I need new chain & sprokets only 5000klm after they'd been replaced........ who knows........ RE: Brake Pads - RaZ - 23-04-2008 always check them your self dude :) |
