Hey Ravestar I have heard of people putting all sorts of things in there tanks to stop them rusting but on of my mates used one of the vaccuum seal bags and sealed the whole thing air tight. He only had the tank out of bag just recently as he has just relocated to another town and Tank is spot on, just like a brought one..

Has been in the bag for approx 2 yrs.

Maybe stick a shitload of the silicon gel packs in it like they have in electrical goods when in the warehouse?

Get a fuel cap & fill it with petrol.I left my old triumph t160 in my shed, unused for 8 yrs but left the tank full.after 8 yrs, no rust in tank, but still gutless.
