10. Afraid it will invalidate warranty.
9. Leather and studs make it too heavy to raise arm.
8. Refuse to wave to anyone whose bike is already paid for.

3 Reason's why nobody waves back to me!

3. I forgot I'm in a bus, wishing I was on a bike, as they go by.
2. I'm in a bus half on their side of the road, as they attempt to get out of the way. (sometimes they wave with their fists)
1. They know who I am, so just ignor me! Frown

Coming to a blind mountain corner near you soon (If you ride near Falls creek, Mt Buffalo, Mt Hotham, Black Spur, Great Ocean Road)

I'm ashamed to admit every now and then I forget I'm in a car and nodding my head at riders going by.

I too try acknowledge riders in the car.

Also after riding a big weekend I try look in my mirrors if I'm walking around and hear something behind me..

Actually this reminds me of when years ago their was a bike at the traffic lights and another would pull up beside it and not knowing eachother they would engage in conversation as had happen to me over the years but now I find they pull up just infront of you and stare straight ahead or slightly behind you WTF after all arent we all on the same side take me back to the 1980's at least we were all civil to eachother.......

I dunno...I still do that. The only guys who won't talk are generally the R1 pilots, so no loss there. I don't even bother talking to guys on Harleys; there is no common ground.

I've ridden short distances without my jacket, boots, gloves etc a couple of times and noticed no-one nods back...I find comfort in that :)

i get people all the time pulling up and talking to me, mainly young guys in commodores wanting to drag me, or guys on harleys asking how the hell a p plater gets away with riding a busa
100000kms in 23 months, not too bad
