What a top road
Weather is perfect today, and had some errands to run in Albury, so took the 'bus over the Granya Gap. Two things came to mind, What a top road, and doesn't the 'busa do it effortlessly.
Heaps of bikes about, and
couldn't help but show off a little along the river road as I rounded up a Beema who was struggling on a tight line around a lefthand sweeper. This is where the old busa is still in a class of her own. Had heaps of vision ahead, so rolled up behind, and as he braked and tightenned his line, I simply rolled the old girl on around the outside, top gear, nice and smooth, turned in my seat and gave him a little wave on the way past. One handed, the busa just laydown, rock solid and by the time we'd come out he was only a dot in the mirrors.
(sometimes you just have to
)
There might be a lot of faster bikes, and more expensive bikes on the road, but I reckon the ol'busa is all class, and still commands plenty of respect.
Was supposed to be "thumbs up" not "thumbs down"!!!!
