Went for a ride today with a mixed group ,pretty slow Harley leading, then a couple of GSXR'S and a R1 and some others roared past.I was having a ball reeling them in until the f1 light started flashing and the engine stalled,I pulled up switched every thing off and restarted the bike

, all good. Then rode 2km's same thing but after a few checks found out the battery had collapsed no power at all even when arced with a screw driver

should a Busa keep running with a dead battery?

Thanks for asking around

but I don't under stand why it restarted the first time after it stopped running and then die again, only thing I can think of is 1 cell must have completely collapsed.

Just checked if the battery was getting charge and it was, about 13.2 volts at idle then around 14.5 v at 2000rpm.
