Quick question for you lot out there, dropped my Busa on a trip to Cairns last week and was wondering if after I've replaced the clutch lever, footpeg and LH fairing has anyone had a similar experience and found other troubles later with there bike due to the fall? Was only doing about 50kph and slipped on a dead rabbit on a LH corner. Happen all so quick! Chris

Best to get a mechanic to have a look if you're not sure. Little things may cause problems, like grinding out bolts or circlips that hold on covers, gear lever, hole in water res bottle, oil line being scraped, radiator hose loose, stearing head bearings etc... but may not be obvious at the start.

Busa's crash well with a little low side like that your stator cover may have taken a bit of a hit and although it may not be leaking it could have a crack on the inside there paper thin and made of cheese and you should have a little scrape on the front gaurd to

Speaking from experience! Droped mine on left side at motorplex. Damage to lever, bar end, pillion rest, and stator cover. They are very thin! Oh, apart from the obligatory plastic scratches. Unless the fairings are real bad, water bottle should be OK.
Cheers

Hey thanks guys, appreciate the advice, yeah the stator cover took a good scape, file most of it smooth and repainted it. I was lucky enough to ride it home 8 hrs and seemed allright but I wasn't sure after a while. Looking forward to getting her back on the road. Thanks again guys,
