Tim Fletcher update

New update on Tim Fletcher from Bridget Fletcher

Home at last. Didn't see any daylight today.
He went through at about 10 am, probably started at 11 . When I inquired at 4-30 he was still in surgery.
6 I rang on the patient inquiry phone, he was up in the ward ( they were supposed to call me)
Both arms bandaged.
His right wrist, he had a piece of something loose floating about, so they removed it( possibly wood, gravel or bone from the accident)
They removed several pieces of bone from the elbow to loosen it ( the bone that had grown) Heterotopic Ossification
In the notes, it said that the ligament repair was poor, shall ask the doctor when I see him.
Poor baby has two drainage tubes, a catheter again and a drip.
Wasn't very coherent. Said to him I can smother him with kisses again. Muttered no thanks.
He's in the same ward as before South-East 7 Orthopaedics.
Should be in until at least Wednesday, will have to cancel classes to bring him home.
I just hope it's successful and it doesn't grow back 30-40% chance of it recurring .
Will go tomorrow afternoon after work
