Like i said bruce it isnt failsafe,i blew probably30% of the passes because of incorrect foot technique. What happens is the longer you set the fuel cut for and the faster the engine is revving up eg lower gears, the earlier it cuts in so your shift point for 1-2,is lower than 2-3 and so on which is the opposite of what you want.relying on your reaction time to a shift light and having an air ram do the shifting near to 100% reliably to me seems the far less skilled option. With this technique your reflexes work in your favour by giving a higher shift point in the lower gears which gradually gets closer to the shift light rpm in the higher gears as the engine revs up slower. It wasn,t the shift style that gave the speed, it was the cold dry morning air and the sticky track, the bike was faster as soon as i fed the clutch out.

Yes Brother Legend,
20 per cent would make a nice improvement.
Depending on base fuel map, it should be safe.
Have fun,

for all racers running 9.7 or better requires not only skill but the balls to wrap the throttle on and carry the wheel.
i hope to be there this season. bike can do it, not sure on the rider.
