Almost back

Hello All,

Been quite a while since I have been on site looks like lots of improvements and a lot of new members and sadly a couple more gone which is always bad news.

I had a little off myself just over a year ago see pics below not on the busa thank goodness and didn't think I would be able to ride again let alone walk but as luck would have it I am almost back to my old self and hope to be back on the Busa soon [attachment=3913][attachment=3914]

Hey JIm, nmot relatyed to the late barry Sheen are you? Your leg looks similar to his after a little off that he had!

Glad you're back, you've missed a few interesting occurrences along the way. Getting back into the saddle will be theraputic and enjoyable.

Thanks for he good wishes one and all no Max no relation the late great Barry Sheen but I bet I will have just as much fun at the airports now

Welcome back Jim its nice to see you back on the forum.
You should post those xrays off to Ventura. They could do with bracing like that on their rack elbows. (If you've been reading up on the HEIDI'S excellent adventure thread you'll know what I mean)

Just finished restoring it too 94 BMW R100GS Paris Dakar still can't remember how it happened all I can remember is cruising down the road nice and slow they have a 35ltr tank plus as I said I had just finished restoring it so was in no hurry to scratch it up then some women (never did find out who she was she probably saved my life ) are you all right darl? don't worry I've called the ambulance. then passed out again until I felt really cold (the ambos where cutting my gear off) and the big grizzly adams looking bloke saying Soon have you right mate and woke up the next day in hospital. Don't have any pics of the after event the missus had her towed away before I got out of hospital.

Nope not a damn thing I have been trying for over a year now and just can't remember even the coppers couldn't figure it out no skid marks (apart from in my undies I reckon there was a couple there) funny thing is so I have been told the only damage to the bike was the handle bar bent on the right and right mirror broken all the rest of the damage was at the rear.
Drive shaft casing, panniers broken and bent but only on the top, passenger grab handle bent into the seat that far it broke the seat pan and the seat had to be cut off to get my personals out (rego papers, insurance details, tools and the like)

I don't know if I want to remember really
