Buy some aluminium round bar (approx 35mm dia) and cut off 4 pieces to the length you want to raise the bars and drill them in the centre (11mm I think).

You will usually only be able to lift up to an inch because your bars will hit the fairing when turning and the cables will be stretched out.

You will also need to get some longer bolts. Undo the 4 bolts holding the bars down lift the bars up and slip the spacers in between the top triple clamp and the bars. Insert your new bolts (through the bars, spacers and top triple clamp) tighten up and your done.

Dont lose the tapered rubber grommets from the bottom of the triple clamp.
Use nyloc nuts for safety and also use stainless bolts and nuts if you can.

I think that covers it.

My old bones have bounced up the road to often.
Used to hurt on long run's.
I changed to a old style top yolk and bar's.

All's good now.

Similar to this, but I used Moto-X bars on mine.

I have a bit of osteo arthritis. I have been using Heli Bars on the last 3 Busas I have had.

They raise the handlebars one and five eigths of an inch. widen them an inch and bring them back towards you and inch. I've ridden Busas without them and wonder how these young wipper snappers manage the long kays they do.

Ray at Easyriders sells them on this site as well as other places. They are pricy but work very well.

Hope this helps.
