Stickers on Tank REMOVAL

Anyone got a way to get rid of these STUBBORN STICKERS?
My nails has just about had it. I'd hate to damage the paint, but these blighters are REALLY STUCK!

Tried applying gentle heat to them to soften the adhesive (hair dryer)?

Or sit in the sun for a couple of hours
Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall.

Or sit a very hot (not boiling) facewasher for a while. It's heaps easier in summer.

Euculyptus Oil - works a treat on stickers and won't damage the paint.
(It disolves the glue)

OK, thanks for all your suggestions and here's the DEFINITIVE absolutely fail-safe procedure. It takes 7-10 mins to take all the stickers off the tank and it does absolutely no damage to the paintwork.
Use heat from HAIRDRYER.
plus SECRET WEAPON ...SOFT PLASTIC TAKEAWAY SPOON!

Apply heat and push UPSIDE DOWN soft plastic spoon into the edge of the sticker as the glue melts and the sticker softens. Sticker peels off like sunburns skin...(less dramatic). Wipe over with Ti Tree oil, or Eucalyptus oil or WD40(I used all three!) to totally clean up all glue residues. FINITO! Tank looks like stickers were never there!
