The Haircut

One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut.
After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied,
'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week.'

The florist was pleased and left the shop.
When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.

Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the barber again replied,
'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week.'
The cop was happy and left the shop.
The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen donuts waiting for him at his door.

Then a politician came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, the barber again replied,
'I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.'
The Politician was very happy and left the shop.
The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen politicians lined up waiting for a free haircut.

And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country and
the politicians who run it.

BOTH POLITICIANS AND NAPPIES NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON...

Louwai, you are a f***en classic. Mate that`s exactly the answer I came up with on a deep thinking excercise recently & seems to be the only correct thing to do as a citizen intent on participating in this countries future. Trophy

That's all fine and dandy but In reality the problem is not the pollys but the citizens who don't speak up,put them in a controlling position and yous trying to hold on to some 1970's bullshit "laid back attitude"that really just leaves problems unsolved. The French have got it right from centuries ago and when their leaders, kings, queens or politicians start taking them for a ride it was their head that came off their shoulders. When something similar as the work choice agreements was implemented in France the citizens there felt that fcuking them with a smile was not acceptable so they asked their poles to fix/change.........it did not happen so they rioted and guess what happened?????????they dropped the agreements in a matter of blinking. The french believe that the pollys should be scared of the people not the other way round!!!!!
On the flip side here in Aus we have an opposition leader who publicly says that he lies (no surprise) was a major player in work choice, doesnt want to lose or change laws/regulations that really hurts the middle class and wants to keep us in the dark ages with bright ideas like abolishing the fibre optic installation plan.
People take note: when Tony displays his genitals in those nasty bathing trunks he is clearly telling you what you are all in for if he's elected...............
