Riding in the Geelong area.

Hey. I was just wondering what the mexicans think of the riding around Geelong. I know there is the great ocean road, but are there heaps of good roads down there? And are they patrolled relentlesly?

There aren't too many roads down there, most are patrolled, some more than others.

I like the loop - Cape Otway Rd to Apollo Bay, Great Ocean rd to Lorne, then back thru Deans Marsh to Cape Otway Rd.

Mid week is safest if you can snag a day off. Sunday most patrolled!

depends on traffic and how fast you go but at legal speeds id say roughly 3-4 hours tops

Timmy's got it right. I generally don't speed on the G.O Rd, I allow 5hrs from Hoppers Crossing. Including a decent break in Apollo Bay for lunch!

It's coming onto that time of year again......... woo hoo

Seeya on the road!! Biker
