Transporting a bike from Melbourne to Adelaide
#1
Hi there. I am looking at buying a trail bike in Melbourne and need to get it shipped here to Adelaide, can anyone recommend a courier/transport company that could help me with this and a rough price if possible. The bike is on e bay and seller states local pick up only. Would they pick the bike up from his home ? Also like to add bike will not need pampering or bubble wrapping as it needs restoration. All replies greatly appreciated , thanks Alan

Hi,
I used Bikes only to bring my Busa from QLD to NSW to my door $300.00 very good but very busy, but maybe ok down your way.

Hay ROD did you find that what you put up with. I had no trouble with scratches but that doesn't say I would not have received any. I suppose I was lucky with my other bike going up to QLD and my Busa come from QLD to my home.

Thanks John

I said $39 Lol2

Tiger Airways has several early flights Adelaide to Melbourne on Tuesdays for $39.95 with web check in (7kg Carry on I think)

The trick to cheap flights is to book on the Actual Operators Web site.
If you use webjet etc then they will slug you about 20 to 30 bucks in fees on top of the $39.95

Jetstar only have the $39 flight on Tuesday nights now which is not much use if doing a quick day trip to pick up a Bike Very Happy

Isn't it Ironic that my Favourite Stretch of Tarmac is called C.O.P. Eek
