Thanks guys, best ET was 9.911, and all up five runs under 10sec. Gave me the confidence to get through eliminations as I knew I could run just about everyone in the class down, and if they wanted to beat me they had to react quick. So that caught one red light and another went under his dial in to beat me. We both went under, but he more so. Really good day and Revit deserves many thanks and congratulations for putiing his money and name into local bike racing. That's the second one he's run at Quit and it seems to be proving very popular. Even had a nitro Harley down doing tuning! Ran 7s from what I recall. Quite a few into the 8s, the ones with the ladders out the back, and another lot into the 9s. Busas were low in numbers really, maybe 7?
I think the seat made a bit of difference too. Much less inclined to wheelie and that gave me the confidence to nail the 60' , my best 60' was 1.640.
Now, here's the big question!
Who has the fastest ZX12 Kwaka. Stock, stock and more stock????
Michael McDonald ran at least a 9.48 yesterday. He's a jockey, maybe 60kg wringing wet, but even so, that seems to me to be right up there with the very best!
Mind you, John O'Hara on his 99 copper/silver is into the 9.6s If I recall! That has to be a good one too.
RAPID bike might carry a few results next issue!
