aftermarket fuel pumps question please

Can I fit schitnz racing or NOS fuel pump instead of the original?
mine is failing I think. Struggling after 7 k rpm.

Most likely the problem is the dirt in filter (more than it can handle) or kinked fuel line affectging the volume of the flow. Check that first.

Gen2 filter can't be accessed. The whole unit needs to be replaced. Found a replacement fir $50 on eBay.pump has been noisy and weird noises as well. Thought would replace with something which lasts more than 38k kms

gen 2 filter is nearly identical to the later gen 1 , you can back flush them, but replacement is better
if you can get a good one
