Mrs 1hotbusa gets her first bike.

Hey everybody,

On the weekend we went to Albury to pick up Kathys new bike. She has wanted to ride for a long time and we decided that it was time to put another motorcyclist on the road.

We managed to track down a GS500 which is learner legal in NSW with very low kilometers and in excellent condition. So we did the trip down, very sceptical as we thought it was too good to be true. There were no issues with the bike, it rode well, as I took it for a 30km test ride.

So we put it on the trailer and brought it home. There will be stuff to do on the next spannering session as we want to polish the rims and fit doof doof mesh into the fairings so that it looks like mine.

And even better news, the bike is black and red. That's two camps happy.

I don't suppose the bar ends are the same as the Busa?
If so I've got a set of chromies for her!

Great idea Simmo, a suck through turbo with more delays than Cityrail.

Bring the copper paint Simmo, we want to kill off the back lawn, and looking at your picture under your signature, copper gives you a weird riding position as though you are trying to root the tank. Do you have a hole in the back of the tank, and is it heated???

Look forward to catching up with you too Busgo!!!

i started on a gs500 before the busa- they are a great bike. Comfortable upright riding position. get about 400kms to the 15 litre tank. Ahhh the memoriesd come flooding back... But compared to the busa it's a scooter, Bit like all kawasaki's hahahahah
