A Special Thanks

Some of you know that I have been building a turbo for the last couple of months, actually thats a poor choice of words as I didnt do any of the work. A few people deserve a thank you for all the hard work and advice they put in.

1st - Greg (MAJ) did all of the install including the water injection and wiring for the Motec, he even taught himself the Motec operating system !!!!!! so that he could troubleshoot problems and has been a fantastic help giving advice and guidance even after it left his workshop.

2nd - Leonard has been there with offers to help when we had tuning problems with the motec and even welded up a support bracket for the additional fan.

3rd - Glen from TC designed and made custom stickers for the bike, mailed them to me and then told me they were free as a birthday present.

4th - It pains me to do it but thanks also to Ray (ERI) who sold me some great parts at the right price and even pulled some strings at Croyden Racing saving me a fortune on the tuning/setup bill.

The bike is nearly finished (only bling left) and goes like shit off a chromed shovel so I wanted everyone to know who some of the good guys are in the club.

Thanks again guys, I'd still be riding a boring old non boosted busa without your help.

Bruce i enjoyed the remaunfacturing and fitting, my biggest worry the whole time was marking something on your bike, everything is so blinged and shiny .
Learnt a lot too, chased our tail for a while with the assumption that the motec was setup properly in its original install.

And brakes.... did i mention how much i like your brakes Coolsmiley

And thanks to spaman for copping my shit and still having a thick enough skin to stay mates.:ghastly:If the bike went together with no dramas you would have learnt nothing and not appreciated the end result. Now with all the hard work nearing an end, enjoy it and don,t sell it.Someone will offer you 5 grand for it because its not original.Judging by the efforts some have gone to , you,ll need their permission to sell it anyway. Now do something about that pipe,it lets the bike down.Another little hint, gold plating looks spectacular next to carbon fibre.Easyrider carbon of course.:2funny:

If we can do quality carbon work here in australia, that would be fantastic. If alex could do those undertails in kevlar or carbon for strength and fatigue resistance that would be great too.Glass is ok ,dependant on the reinforcing around load points.
