Looking at doing a further 6 month stint at Alice Springs.

Made some enquires about getting my bike transported up here.

$1500.00 including the insurance, one way and they will only bring it to Tennant Creek (500 ks or so up the road.)

For the round trip it'll be cheaper to ride it, including new tyres and a service.

So I think I'll be taking the other bus.

Surely it can be done cheaper than that.

When I was in Alice Springs the Ulyssees club did a ride up there, and just about all of them had their bikes 'shipped' back. I think one of the local bike shops in Alice organised and crated them.
