As per Taub's sugestion, I downloaded "SpyNoMore", it scanned all of the files okay, all 67 of them. However, it is asking me to purchase a licence before it will remove them. Problem is, I don't think the link is secure, there is no little padlock in the bottom right hand side of the screen. I am now trying Slownadsteady's sugestion re Stinger.
Cheers,
Terry
all this started as soon as you spoke those nasty words TIME FOR THE BUSA TO GO i reckon that is what is wrong maybe you should keep the Busa and the virus will go away

Somehow Bill, I don't think it's that easy. Besides, I know you would do the same for your missus.
Any ideas in relation to the "SpyNoMore" issue?

Terry

Thanks Raz, all seems okay now. I'll download "Process explorer" anyway and keep it in reserve.

Hey Diablo,
process explorer is a kinda advanced tool to look at everything that windows is running - remember the help menu/file? :) it actually does help if you have to use it....
just thought about it for a second & thought I should note that as well.

Paulh, no dramas mate. You going to give one of us a call when you get here? Are you staying on the Gold Coast or in Brisbane? Call me when you arrive on 0409349507, I have a pretty full on few weeks coming up, however, I should be able to fit in a coffee or two.
Cheers,
Terry
