Further to what I said earlier in this thread about oil.
I spoke with Jamie from BIKECARE in Newcastle yesterday who services a lot of local busas and he uses and recommends semi synthetic oil for busas. He reckons the full synthetic is too thin and burns off in a GSX1300 donk.

Hi Ray,

I run Motul 5100 Semi Synthetic in mine, a friend of mine in the know reccomended it, and I'm staying with it. I also dont like the idea of 100% dinosaur bones either in the thing, hence the 50/50 split.

Thats OK Leonard, I'm getting sick of tripping over the thing and the best place for it is in the bike. The idea is not canned, just on hold.

Pan, NO!!!! You cannot have it, period, unless you offer me a price I cannot afford to refuse. Regards
Graham

Doesn't matter what oil you use really. Throw in the whole 4 litres and change it when it's dirty.

Hmmm, may have to make Graham an offer he can't refuse...
Know anyone that could make a "suggestion"?
