Were you on the road?

Just driven the bus over Mt Hotham, lake entrance, bairnsdale etc.

Saw plenty of 'busas.
But more importantly, saw one of those "magic" copper ones going over the mountain on Sunday.
Saw another "legenary" copper one near Bairnsdale on Monday, followed 5 mins later by another "rare" Copper one being driven by a dog.Confused

Was very jealous as it was a beautiful day, and 230hp isn't all that inspiring when its surrounded by about 13 tonnes.

Sounds like it may have been Tex, Jen and Bundy (aka Motoplast), possibly returning to Sydney from the GP. Bundy usually travels on the tank.

You possibly saw myself (build 258) and my mate (build 158) on Monday as we were returning to Sydney.

Is tex and bundy still getting grief from the cops ? he/they is very well known now due to media exposure , so with the exposure - are the cops turning a blind eye or is it "business as usual?"

Tex & Bundy are doing a secret survey for the NSW Cops just to show how understaffed they are.........!!! or is it that we are just to quick......!!!
Actually it is business as usual for us, we have some very important high profile people on our side, the cops don't want to be the pricks that bust us, having said that, there is quite a few things happenning that I will place on the forum as they come or are about to come to fruition. The sad thing is it comes into law in Vic' as of the 10 Nov', so unless we can get some sort of exemption/permit, Bundy may have done her last Barry Sheene ride :( . The Cops that police that ride are 100% behind us and are doing their best for us :) .
At the Barry Sheene Auction night on the Wednesday, we offered a poster size framed pic' of Tex & Bundy on the Gen11, it got the second highest bid. V. Rossi raised a little more than $100 over Bundy, who in turn raised around $200 more than a pic' of Gardner!!!! Go Bundy!!.
I made a little "Fopar" early morning on the Tuesday prior to the GP, when less than 30 minutes from home, I pulled over to give Bundy a "dump run" so she would be right for the day. I pulled off the bitumen onto the gravel (about a 6" drop off) and promptly laid the 'Busa on it's left side at about 5mph! One broken mirror, a severely scratched left fairing panel(s) and one pissed off rider. Jen & Bundy landed on their feet, I was pegged by my ankle underneath the bike, did I swear??? Shit yeah!!!. A one armed chick and a dog can't help much in those circumstances, fortuneatly my mate was pulled up just in front of me. All's good!. I have a new paint job underway for the Sydney bike show, glad I didn't have it fitted to the bike for P.I..
After our off in Fiji last month, as u can imagine, my new nick name is "Crash" !!!lol.
On a lighter note, coming over Hotham last Monday was Awsome with all that snow, but even better was howling down hill towards Bright overtaking a gungho Ducatistian (solo & just a small backpack) 3up & an overloaded Ventura bag (large), the look on his face as we went past & Bundy looked him in the eye, was priceless!!!!!. The fact that my back brake had faded into oblivion was besides the point!!!lol. Go the mighty 'Busa!!.

Cheers,
Tex & Bundy

Thanks for the Update Tex ( and Bundy ) My Family have been watching with keen interest of your adventures , I didn't realize you were a member of this forum, so i apologize for not asking directly!

I really hope you guys do get an exemption to allow your mate to ride on the tank of your bike , but Vic being a police state i doubt any politician would have the balls to stand up for your efforts , which is very sad indeed

anyway keep us informed~!

Gee , I dont know who was riding that gen II last year, I could have sworn it was the person of the 4 legged kind, I was South of Hotham coming up from Omeo on the run home from the Isl last year, and wooshka, the three tiered ride just swooped pass me like I was standing still and his Black Night Maltese Falcon Mate on a K9 1000 Gixer was hookin in close behind them.

One of my best memories of the Gp ride last rear. Tex you blew me away the way you ride that thing packed to the hilt and Hunting along.
