An Australian mate of mine has lived & worked overseas for the past 15yrs, paying tax in the country he lives in.
Late last year he received a letter from Kev saying that due to changes in the Australian Tax Laws, he now has to pay income tax on his overseas earnings, to the AU Gov.

Good old Kev, reaching far & wide to "help" Australian workers...... wherever they may be......

are you serious? So in a year or so when I go to Canada to live I either have to renounce my Aussie citizenship or I'll be paying tax to Australia while I'm paying tax there
