Still keen to try and catch up with the Newcastle bunch this week. Looks like www.wife.com has scheduled a long lunch with some folks on the North Coast enroute from Paradise. Not likely to see Newcastle before 7 ish Wednesday evening. If we arrive early enuff, I will head over to the foreshore and say g'day.

Well it appears that tonight's get together was a bit of a flop.

Only 12 bikes turned up and 14 thrillseekers.

Seems there are a lot more lurkers out there than I guessed.

Dude pulled up beside me at the lights on the way home on a new R1.
He says "Hey, I've got one of them too." Pointing at the busa.
"But I only use it for long trips".

I didn't get a chance to collar him and do the intros thing.

G'day Astro.
My days of locksmithing were fun and educational but didn't last. They hired a fully qualified smithy who didn't need to be trained and I had to make room. I learned quite a bit and got back into the habit of using tools which was really good.

I am now selling bulk STEEL. A nice clean job with good income and conditions.

(Good conditions = lots of time for riding)
