awesome racing so far especially in comp bike with many under the national index.
as for myself i've got a lot of work to do today to get past the 1st round in mod bike with a field of 40 plus bikes. 2 thirds of these riders are under 10.30 sec.
off to the track.

hey leonard. had 4 qualifiers. tried something new on 1st one and red lighted but thats ok. then set myself on the tree with an 0.054,0.045 then a 0.014. times were not where they had been with the 0.014 being 10.68 which made it hard to dial in so i went 10.60 thinking i could do better having done so in the past. i had a wheelie barred bike to deal with thats very consistant. couldn't hear my bike and i red lit with a -0.023 so stayed on it for a more respectable 10.36. how this though the other bloke on a 9.87 blew his bike up, oil everywhere and couldn't make the next round. there was many red lights and mechanical breakdowns on what was an entertaining round but the luck was not with me today. fellow member horndog recorded a perfect light and broke out by 0.003 against the aust mod bike champion. MB1 won the meet with my mate on his big bore busa breaking out with a 9.47 on 9.49. ABUSA should have plenty to write on the comp bike scene which again was full of action. back to more practice. cheers ian
