glad you got it sorted SEABREEZE i was the one that had that problem with aftermarket chrome levers only mine didnt engage the switch so i bridged the switch and had the same problem F1 light came on i think with bridgeing the switch caused it to idle just abit higher on the computer it idled at 1195 and that caused the c14 code.
SPEED ISN,T EVERYTHING BUT IT SURE IS FUN.

yeah i told the guy at central coast cycles about levers potentially doing something to the F1 light and he basically said that was bullshit and the guys in the hayabusa club think they can fiddle with bikes and shouldnt, and blah blah blah, i told him i didnt like mechanics and he started on about them being "technicians" and that they should only be the ones to look at the bikes and TAKE OUR HARD EARNED CASH for nothing, did i mention i dont like dealers!

He obviously doesn't know about the depth of knowledge some of the guys on this forum possess......I would say some of our members are more qualified to work on Hayabusas than the clown you spoke to!!!!
