Trailer on the radio for "Today Tonight" (Mebourne) this evening says they have a story on how police are closing in on 300 km/h speed demons... Anyone we know??

It was in the Gold Coast. Mainly car drivers, and the 300+ was just hearsay (a guy bragging).

I agree. Sure he was over the speed limit, but I didn't think that pass had him much over 200, if that. It wasn't open road or anything, there. Lame story, yes.

When i saw the report stating 300+ I went "Woohoo... Busas" but turned out cars. The only thing that report did was give the drivers swelled heads. Nice mono however.

Old Motorhead the turbo guy from Labusa's just went 237 MPH on some track with 385 odd horsepower. Now they are talking about a theoretical 265 MPH with 400 horsepower ! Said the front wheel was just skipping the ground in 6th. Don Vescoe's twin engine record could be
