What are these modifications worth?

Thats the way it goes gaz unfortunetly.
f***,have a look at cars, its the same, what fetches more money?
A totally original low klms car?
Or the same car with abit of kms on it an a whole lotta mods?
The original, cuz people get the idea that its never been
modded or harassed/thrashed.

It's the fear of the bike being thrashed isn't it? dead right though, everyone wants a dead stock gently ridden bike, then they want to do the mods themselves and thrash it. Because everyone knows, when you thrash your own thing it's OK, but if someone else hits the rev limiter, it's bad for it.
Funny, that's exactly what I've done! Mind you, I have a shelf of all original stuff, and I will put that back on if I ever decide to sell it, then I'll flog the parts separately.
heard all that before?

I guess most people are only looking to buy something at below market value, in good nick and low mileage. Mods are not generally what someone is after.
