I personally would not buy BlueAnt.
BlueAnt is just a company name that buys OEM products from a manufacturer in Taiwan & have their logo put on the items.
They do not manufacturer ANY of their own items. The Supertooth II will last about 18mths before it dies.
I have one on order will let you know when i get it how it goes. The guys who have it on the OZ blackbird site say it works well and all reports i have heard about it have been good. Time will tell

I am only going by other Blueant stuff I've owned + the research I did into the company when my stuff started to crack up.
I bought 2 ear-pieces. Both were replaced 3 times before I eventually just gave up.
The Supertooth II was working fine & then it started to have issues.
1) Would not answer the ph when button was pushed. (S II would ring but not anwer)
2) Then would not connect when ph rang. (S-II would not even ring)
Tried to get it repaired / replaced but it was 4 weeks out of waranty so they told me to buy another. Yeah right!!!!!!
This all happened a year or so ago.
I looked into BlueAnt as a comapny. They have an office with people answering ph's & that's it.
There have been 3 times since they started trading when they have had to re-call thousands of a specific item due to defects in manufacture.
They buy all their stuff from a OEM manufacturer, (who's name escapes me right now) It was something like STAR Manufacturing
I think, from Taiwan.

I just bought a new Honda Legend & had a ph system fitted by the dealer.
The flamin dealer put a BlueAnt unit into it. How long do ya reckon it took me to sort that out. And the prick tried to charge me $700 for it.
Man I was pissed off. $80,000 car & the fucker tried to put a BlueAnt piece of crap into it.

I have a "Scala" setup. Picked it up on scam bay for $70au bout 12 months ago. Havn't had a single problem. One of the guys I work with was so impressed, he bought one too. After about 3 months, his failed. He sent an email to Scala and low and behold a new set up arrived at his door about a week latter. If I can find a link, I'll post it here.
Cheers,
Terry
