Let me say this I think Bruce is the one who started all this some years ago by calling me a four letter word and it has gone down ever since, and we should also have a gay rights person here also as a moderator just in case there is some shit about.

All of this shit is caused by the same very few people I can think of three straight away. Some of them posting on this thread as tho their shit dont stink.

Easy solution ban them for life.

My shit stinks too. I've never launched a serious personal attack against anybody, and would not type on here anything that I would not be prepared to say to anybodys face.

The points raised above are valid, somebody could be ganged up upon, and somebody in Melbourne will decide that person is a bastard, then wham! Gooone without any justifiable reason. The other thing with "reputation" systems is that I have asked some fairly pointed but honest questions here, which are unlikely to give anybody awarding reputation points the warm fuzzies.

Thanks Jay. I'm getting off my soapbox on this one now. Sometimes I think it is like Aust Idol but at the beginning when all the tone deaf people are auditioning. (Thats when it's the best IMHO)

Who knows... maybe one day we won't need this points system. Perhaps today we do, but lets hope it can be removed one day... just because we don't need it any more.

maybe all this would get people in the shed more and off the keyboard.Coffee nights may come back and drag nights and other socialising may improve.With a secret vote system as proposed some may be in for a shock how quickly they get banned.what comments i see posted and what some people say in confidence are often verry different.Personally i think its bullshit.Non personal debate and shit stirrring is one thing,when it gets personal shut the thread.Keep it transparent or no one will trust it.Was this my last post?

Even here in canberra, the social sips of died off a bit. I myself haven't exactly been out and about much lately but everyone on here should get out more often and ride together!
