G'day all. Quick question for those in the know please, how many extra rear wheel HP would you expect to get from a PCIII ? I've got a K&N Filter, R55 full yoshi system on the K8, and yesterday had a PCIII installed and custom tuned. He said before the tune I had 165 rear wheel HP, and after 171.4. Does this sound about right? I was hoping (praying) for more? Any help in answering greatly appreciated. Cheers.
The pc3 only allows you to correct the air fuel to acheive maximum power. If its a long way out it,ll help alot,if its spot on,it won,t help at all.Like any mod it can only improve whats not optimum.

Yeah, makes sense. Never really looked at it like that, but you're right. Think I was just wanting it to be a magic Horse Power wand...haha...cheers mate.
Magic horsepower wands are called Turbos in WA mate.

PM REVIT13, He has done similar but with Brocks exhaust. He got the Pattersons at Bunbury Ducati to tune his for him with possibly slightly better results but he could confirm.

I've got a K&N Filter, Air box mod & R22 yoshi cans on the K6, and installed a PCIII and then had it tuned - same result picked up about 6HP but the bike is smoother down low as was running a bit rich in thew low rev area before the tune.
Cheers baz
PS yes - Magic wand = $

May be its a honest dyno. The numbers means jack shit, its the back to back ,before & after, increase that matters. Would it go any faster if it said 202hp & went to 208hp ? Leigh

Dynos are a tuning tool not a HP acknowledger - all Dynos differ they are reletive to the bike thats getting tuned some would argue that a bike can be tuned better from a good mech with some hours on the bike.
Egos; everyone got one
Patto's telling me he got my Busa' to 203 HP, with a PCIII, DNA filter and full yoshi exhaust. He's pretty switched on thou.....
