Karma? He probably has a wife who beats him. Maybe we should feel sorry for the miserable sack of shit.

On second thoughts, nah, f*** him, he deserves it.

i attended briefly on friday night, what stand were you working on. going by an earlier post on this thread it sounds like it was the police stand, if so do you think it was due to the stand and not you personally

it seems so random for someone to do that without reason, have you had any alterations/disagreements on this forum?
#18
Never had a major problem with anyone on the forum, specifically because I do make sure I engauge the brain before touching the keyboard.

Even if it was the Police stand, why should that matter, given my long standing membership and attendance at gatherings and rides!!
Cheers,
Terry

I know it's easy to say, but don't let this guy get under ur skin, I'm sure u will cross paths with him somewhere along the line, then u can sort it out.
Who gives a f....k what stand ur on, Police stand, News stand, head float of the Mardi Gras, who cares. The thing that matters is u are a member of the AHC who shares a common interest with it's members, surely one can get respect from that until proven otherwise!.
We share the same name mate, so have a bundy or ten, by the sixth one, u won't f..g care what he said!!!Lol2

Cheers,

Hey Terry, Shame that we missed you at the show. My lady and I were there all day Saturday, both in Busa "T's" and didn't get a single comment from anyone.
We think we've found something for chris to get about on too!! She's very excited.
We must get together again sometime. :-)

no offence when i said Policestand.

i had no idea you were part of the boys in blue, its only from reading the earlier posts of this thread made me suspect you may have been, to be honest i didn't even see the police stand at the show but as i said i was only there for about half a hour late fri evening to buy a pee wee 50 for the young fellow

i just took a guess as to why the guy in question was so rude. some people are anti pol and you i or even the pope will never change that,

i guess you need to be a little more philosophical about it all and think their loss not mine

On another note the whole cloak and dagger Hayabusa cop bikes and the fact we are seeing some many unmarked hwy patrols of all makes and models brings rise to the whole them v's us mentality

I do honestly believe a lot of people see hwy patrol as nothing but revenue raising exercise....speed doesn't kill driver error and complacency kills just look at the auto barns

Then there is the recent local media crooked gold coast cops , this obviously does not do you guys any favours.

Finally I was at a local shopping centre last week, literally around the corner from a new Police station along with my 4 children of which all attend a up market private christian school.

A police officer was lined up behind us, My children aged from 4 up to the age 9, as children are, became curious and excited that there was a policeman behind them. Never having any previous encounters, with a police officer, the police officer would of appeared to them, 8ft tall and bullet proof, superman stuff. the boys of course staring at his gun and whispering amongst themselves i told the children to say hello to the officer,

what they got in return was an undistinguished half a grunt, even that appearing to be to much effort.

This officer had the opportunity to introduce himself to 4 wide eye kids and really make an impression, If it was me i would of even got down on one knee so i was at the same level so i could talk to these kids

instead he has left a mark on these kids that along with a badge comes arrogance

again i say we just have to be a little more philosophical and its their loss not yours

and in this last case its the officers loss and his colleagues ,as at the end of the day that officer represented all officers to these kids.
We just had to do some quick explaining to our kids saying not every police you meet are like that, perhaps he was just tired and just wanted to get home to see his family

sorry you had a bad experience hope you enjoyed the show all the same,

we havn't meet yet, I hope to meet you on a club ride some day and i don't think leaving the board will serve any good purpose other then creating more of the them v's us mentality from both sides of the fence

it wasnt the genuflect that worried me it was the pvc hose or the blackboard compass or the steel ruler edge ways across the knuckles, the leather strap was easy compared to these

i attended st patricks college (spc state prison camp affectionately known as)

the same town was/is host to the nsw police academy

funny when people are placed into a situation of power those who are have power bestowed upon them tend to abuse it.

I guess diablo you are a victim of sterotyping, i thought a person in a postion such as yours would be use to dealing with such events

get over it mate or otherwise he is one up on you!!

I use to drag similar baggage around being a tradie and seeing all those toffy nose execs look down at me in my dirty work clothes whilst i was doing the banking etc
this all stemed from a dinner one night, my wife was the pa to the director general of abc shipping(later brought out by tnt), she had the two door bmw company car corporate box access to all the sporting such as the races, cricket etc etc

cut a long story short the dutch prick(director) said out loud addressing my then wife to be in 2 weeks at closed board function of 20 execs and thier partners, whyis she marrying me as i am only a tradesman and didnt have any letters before my name( sudden silence) then he asked it again.. needless to say we walked out.. i was speachless consisdering i was invited... a couple of brown nose execs follwed us out appologising for his words

fortunately he went bankrupt a few years later and a few of those execs lost not only thier jobs but thier homes

anyway i dragged this around for a long time un til someone said who gives a f***.. those that matter to me dont give a toss so why should i

good advice perhaps you should take the same advice diablo

ps
i am not just a tradie OKKnuppel2 Lol2Lol2Lol2

Cheers for the many words of wisdom.

Tex, we met at Bike Week 2006, on the Gold Coast. I am looking at the trophy I won for the toughest overall bike in the Dyno Challenge. I also had the privelage of meeting Bundy.

Greg, I would enjoy going for a ride with you guys again, been too long.

Mia06, some very relevent words there, and I could offer you similar advice, don't colour all of your attitude towards those in blue by your encounters with one or two individuals. I try and get involved in as much community work as I can, as does many of my collegues. I regularly take the bike up to the Childrens ward at the Gold Coast Hospital and spend many hours having fun with the kids, as well as lots of school visits. I will make you this offer, contact me by PM amd I will take up with you and your kids when ever and where ever you like. Like many of the guys I work with, I believe in fostering a positive image with the broader community, especially kids.

As far as the individual I encountered at the show is concerned, I had never met him in my life, however, he was able to do the math and put 2 and 2 together and came up with my name, probably from this site. I'm over it, I've had my rant, blown a bit of steam and moved on.

To all of the othwer members who posted positive remarks, cheers for your support and keep the shiney side up!!!
Cheers,
Terry

What a twat!!!

PS good tastes in the white LTD.
The uniform (no matter what service) sticks out like dogs balls (sorry Bundy :-) no matter if your in a marked car or your own car.
But we are still human underneath it all, we get tired, we miss our lunch breaks as there is always something more important, we get angry blasts when we are not at fault and (well the list continues).... but we are all only human.
Regardless, we do our jobs cos we love it, lol its not for the money :-) ... But I do love the little faces when they light up.

Terry I think your giving the turkey a bit of high praise in the maths department, ("he must of put 2 & 2 together...")
Go hard, or Go home!

Wtf This bitch is totally outta control & has lost the plot BIG time......Scary

She certainly doesn't do much for Police public relations ! Undecided

I'm gonna go out on a (very short) limb here and make an educated prediction........my crystal balls see her being suspended from duty before the end of the show (if not ALREADY) !!!!! Yes

She might wanna seriously consider a new career change (drug & alcohol counsellor, perhaps?!?) Lol3
