Early unrestricted computer in late model bikes

We're looking at making an adapter harness to allow the fitment of an early unrestricted computer into a late model bike. You would also need to change the crank rotor as well.

Is this the sort of thing guys would want.

Just trying to gain some feedback prior to having O.E. style plugs made for plug and play harness.

I always thought it was just the TRE but are you saying the early ECUs have other features that are worthy?

The later model has a better 32 bit chip, early has 16, why would you want to retro fit an inferior ECU when plug & play TRE & de restrictors are available for later models at very reasonable prices ?

That's why I was curious. Hard to understand why an earlier ECU is better. Unless there are some instability problems or some such thing in the later ones.
