I picked up a chook chaser yesterday. 2003 KTM525. original owner with log books and 3000 very gentle klms. Hardly a mark on it.

On the way home with the new KTM I stopped off and picked up a set of RGV wheels and new super sticky tyres for the motard conversion.

A bit of lathe work on axle spacers/turn down the sprocket carrier and find some flat faced 320mm Front & 120mm rear discs with and they will be of to the powder coaters.

Should be funPi_tongue

Make no mistake, they go like a rocket and stop like a ,ummm, well they don't stop great but they go.

Nice one Bruce. It will be almost a shame to treat like you know you have too. Beer If you don't stack that KTM over the weekend than your heart just wasn't in it.

Those zukis fit right on? Not bad. Supermoto options are pretty expensive generally for some reason.

Nice Bruce

I had a lot of fun with my old Husqy Motard, far better than the Bus in Peak Hour. A couple of complaints though, it was a prick to start, and the service intervals sucked!

If I had the money I would be buying an Aprilia, they go real well.

Have fun!

Monty,
RGV 17" wheels $300
KTM 320 disc $300
Bearings and machining $200
KTM caliper spacer $100
Tyres $420
Axle sliders front and rear, footpeg sliders, catch tank and front guard were a present.

Full KTM motard kit is $2500+ tyres if your lucky.

Mine is near a 3rd of the cost and can b made to fit any chook chaser.
