Ok started out from Goodna (just as well someone i.e. me, reads the board or we would of ended up at Gailes-Russell or Yatala-Tony) with a merry band of Mechanx, Shredder, Rob, Greg, Russell, Paul, Tony & I. Set off at a brisk pace and Rob waved out at Rosesomething (Rod at least your man enough to know when things are getting scary). Stopped for smoko at Clifton, where I managed to pick up some jam and a frog (which i broke when i got home). Awesome pies might need to ride back there to get another frog and some more jam. Ok progressed on and waved Mechanx off at the turn off. Onwards at an even brisker pace (I called this section "Close your eyes and hang the ferk on"). Paul and Shredder swapped bikes for a bit and Shredder managed to put 2 holes in Pauls tyre. Thank goodness for plug thingos. I managed to stay in the shade while the boys fixed the tyre. I could of watched them work all day but time was getting on and we had to get to Glen Innes. Stopped for lunch in Laidley after some more spirited riding. Tony and Shredder swapped so I was on the back with Shredder. Shredder is a definate solo rider, he was jumping from side to side and I'm going WTF??? you got something stuck in ya shorts??? But its all good, I suppose Im used to Tony just leaning and me with him. Anyway we all took off and hello wheres Shredder. Tony must of vapor locked his bike for him because the turbo beast decided she wasn't going to go. After some coaxing from Shredder she was away again. Ok onward to Glen Innes (Im calling this section "OMG I can't feel my ass and my knees numb) again more spirited riding and when you have no music you come up with some interesting stats which I can't post here but boy some of its scary shyte. Ok loooonnnngggg hot shower for me and Tony and then meet up with the rest of the troop for dinner. The steaks were pretty dang good however poor Russell ended up with burnt offerings from the resturant (Tony reckons its God paying him back for riding a Kawasaki). Tony and I turned in first so I have no idea what happened until the next morning when Tony is greeted by Greg in his boxers taking pics of the bikes. Tony was trying hard not to freak out (thats not something he sees everyday Greg) and came inside to wash his eyes out with soap. I heard rumors of Shredder, Paul and Greg strolling around GI looking for a good time and only managed to find a handful of cars outside a Thai Resturant. Thanks guys for oiling our chain that was really sweet of you. Tony nearly had a heart attack when Precious wouldn't start because she was in gear. Theres next years April Fools joke for me. Ok we left GI and its was a bit foggy, we got 25 kms out of town and the visibility had a Stevie Wonder rating, so we turned around and waited in a roadhouse for the fog to lift. When the fog lifted, the ride down the Gwyder was absolutely awesome. We stopped at the lookout and took some piccys and on again for young and old to Grafton. From Grafton to Casino was a more sedate pace which is were we waved goodbye to the crew and came home via Lismore. We managed to sit behind a 4wd that was doing a reasonable pace all the way to Tweed Heads. OK by the time we hit Coomera, I had to get off and walk around or Tony would of had to give me an assist to get off. Got home without major incident although some old guy in a station wagon wanted to add us to his rear end when he stated moving over THEN INDICATED. Made it home to a raptuous welcome by our puppies.
