1) no Max, I don't have a gasket. I'll ring CMC today and see if I can source one.
2) HUH? Are we riding on Sunday?
3) leaving Bardy's Cafe (the one I took you all to in Bungendore ages ago) at 11am on Saturday (weather permitting). I suggest getting there at 10.30 so we can have a cupppa before we go.
4) yep to the back way to Goulbourne, I figure there might be a few BMWs there, so I was going to lead if I was on my own. If I'm not, Max can lead I'm happy to follow.
5) Max you ROCK.
On the way down we rode with the BMW club. What a bunch of old woman fuddy duddy riders. Mind you they did apologise while we had lunch with them in Gouldburn. They are a nice bunch of people, they just can't ride.

One of them "Lew" said to say "G'day" to Saracen, they're pretty close mates at work!
On the way back with the chappy doing the Loop while getting exposure to the assistance available for young kids who have problems-and how to beat suicide, these bloody Hardleys turned up and provided the escort. I got totally jack shit after we had done some 5 kays of 100kph Tarago Road at nothing more than 80kph. Poofters had too little protective clothing, those stupid masks they wear because they're too tough to wear a proper crash helmet - and were showing off their manly ankles with their forward controls - so they were just too cold to go any faster.
I left and rode ahead at 120kph, then, get this, Monyx boots passed doing 160+kph. At that juncture the Hayabusa Club plus a bloke on a 1000fireblade bid the party a righteous "Good Day" and left heading South at a fairly reasonable clip. 160 to 200s. Way to Go Marky!
The rest of the ride was pretty bloody good. I don't think I'll ride with the BMW crew again. The AHC - anyday!

Good weather, good woman, good road, good bike, good-bye!!
