The busa engine has proved its reliability and longevity. Some have said thats a bullet proof engine. Ppl who check theyre shims even at 100.000 say theyre well within specs. Those who have had busas with 100k+ swear theyre as good as new if not even better. I dont know how many bikes on the market have the same reputation.
PS. Believe it or not in my opinion the busas arnt fully run in till after 30.000, at least Gen.1 bikes dunno about Gen.2. Busas are the sort of bike you can well keep 10+ years with high mileage. Mines already 9 trouble free years old. One hellofa bike.
