Ok I can't sleep anyway so I'll add my 2cents.
Why are we here? Because (insert diety of choice here) in my case God, wants us to ultimately have a closer relationship with him. How you choose that is up to you. You are also supposed to enjoy what you do and how you do it
What is life - Its what you make of it and what your destiny is. I believe your life is mapped out and everything (good and bad) that happens to you does so for a reason. You either learn from or become stronger from the experience
Do we die - Yup siree Bob.
Is there an afterlife - Yes I think there is and I also believe that loved ones who have passed on come back and check on you via your dreams, and thoughts. You know you could be thinking of something totally not related to them and then you'll flash to an event involving them or dream about them. I miss my Dad and I'll see some old guy who looks nothing like him and something about that man will remnnd me about Dad. Its bad if I see a old guy on a horse
