Tires - any deals in Perth

Hi,

What is the recommended tyre for Perth, I think due to hot weather - I have created a bald strip on my soft compound tyre (just the centre bald strip due to highway riding) in just about 600 KM. The tyre had done about 2000 KM in Sydney and was in great condition.

I run a Michelin at the moment but have run Pirelli. But most new tyres should be hard centre and soft edges these days I'd have thought. I'll get my tyre details tonight.
