I think Prime and/or Interdata took over the Perkin Elmer name at some stage.
We had a Prime mainframe at the smelter where I worked after the RAAF but it was mainly involved in the plant operations and control functions.
If I remember correctly it had a water cooled cpu box.
(Maybe that was another one).
I left the RAAF in 96/97 so it is going back a bit now.
