The admins have noticed it too. We've been checking IP addresses of each of the new ones to check they aren't all from the same source, any that are are immediately banned. Some of them have links in their sigs that are immediately deleted. The ones that aren't, I've started sending a PM asking them to fill in their details properly or be deleted.
We haven't come to a decision on what to do with them straight up. The main problem is that we get international members signing up that can have pretty dodgy English, but want to be proper members. We don't want to jump on these new ones straight away just in case we accidentally delete a new member.
We are working on this issue now, as it has only really been a problem in the last few weeks. Prior to this, spammers were dead easy to pick, either they are getting smarter, or it is 'forum graffitti'.
We are trying.
