Thanks peoples.
Heidi, it wasn't that special a time. I ran mostly 11's, then a 10.8. We were all spinning in 1st 2nd and 3rd.
The last race was against Leonard and I just tried to keep up with him! Didn't feel fast. Just felt easy! He made me look slow though... he did his usual 9.9 and was disappointed with his run !!!
Anyway... now for some of the stories...
We all met in the car park on our way out after the last race, and as I sat on my bike waiting for my buddy Shane (R1), two couples approached us (in an intoxicated state) .
One lady (and I use the term loosley) came up to me and said, "I have a bet going with my friends that I can convince you to take me for a spin around the car park on the back of your bike because we all think yours is definitely the fastest" (they obviously hadn't been watching the races!!!)
She then went on and offered to go halves with me on the $100 bet.
I politely suggested it was a bad idea as I didn't even have the rear seat on... but Leonard politely (with a very cunning grin on the side of his face) offered his seat (Thanks Leonard.... NOT!). I kept insisting that it was a bad idea, and as I turned forward and reached for my ignition, she... well, um...

...she did a Les and Max!
Yes, she...
The group (4 of them) basically hung around and eventually someone else on a sportsbike took her for a spin...
Ah well, never a dull moment at WSID!
